PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare sushi orders in a timely and efficient manner according to in-house recipes, portion control, and high-end presentation specifications
Show sophistication and quality while working in an open kitchen.
Assist in daily food preparations and inventory management (ie. ability to inspect, receive, and store all raw bar related items)
Maintain a clean work environment, as well as adhere to the restaurant's high sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene measures
5 years of cooking experience in a high-end sushi restaurant
Willingness, knowledge, and ability to execute high-end sushi cuisine
Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professionalism under pressure
High attention to detail with a passion for food
A Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset
Food handling and health & safety training an asset
